If you like pinochle, you will also enjoy Schnapsen. This app is an implementation of the two-player card game Schnapsen where you can play against a friend online through Game Center or play offline against a computer opponent. Win tricks, play marriages (20, 40), close the hand, view taken tricks, and exchange your trump jack for the shown trump card to help you win hands to score game points. Reduce your game score to 0 to win the game and give your opponent a Bummerl before your opponent can give one to you! Features: - Both Game Center online play and offline play against a computer opponent. - Game Center online play includes Voice Chat and Leaderboards. - Choice between large print and standard playing cards. - Optional game sounds. - Various settings provided to tailor the play of the game to match your preferences (available for both offline and online play). - Animated shuffle and deal, which you can bypass by tapping the screen. -Play marriages (king and queen of the same suit) for 20 points. - Play trump marriages for 40 points. - Exchange your trump jack for the shown trump card. - View your opponent s last trick. - View all of your own tricks. - Automatic tally of your hand score (tricks + marriages). - Ability to close the hand. - Game scoring penalties enforced if a player closes the hand but fails to reach 66. - Various statistics accumulated and displayed for both the player (You) and computer opponent (Me). Statistics are updated after a game is completed. - Statistics are updated for offline play. Leaderboards are updated for online play. - 3 skill levels (Beginner, Intermediate, Expert) that dictate the level of play for the computer opponent in offline mode.
